I was a Carb Junkie!!!
My own personal journey to optimal health and wellness began as an overweight teenager who consumed a terrible diet of processed foods, soda and carbs. Even though I was an avid tennis player, I never really worked out or maintained a consistent exercise routine. I know what it’s like to struggle with weight issues and anxiety. I have experienced first hand how a personal transformation can shift every area of your life in positive and joyful ways. This is why I want to help you do the same. Diet and NutritionMost approaches to healthy eating dwell on calories and a daily analysis of carbohydrates, fats and protein intake. These dieting processes can feel uninspiring and difficult to keep track of, so I will simplify it all for you. Instead of creating a list of restrictions and good foods/bad foods, I will guide you how to explore basic improvements that are easy to implement day by day so you can experience gradual positive changes during our wellness work together. Your biology and biochemistry is totally unique to you. One person’s food is another person's poison. We will work on what you want to improve within the circumstances of your unique situation and daily lifestyle. We’ll look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole in a supportive, completely non judgmental space where you can always feel comfortable expressing your feelings, goals and desires. Our ultimate goal together is to help you unlock the deeper issues in your life, so you can experience new breakthroughs in your personal wellness and daily happiness.
A Holistic ApproachAs an Institute for Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I will listen to you tell me about your life holistically. Not just about what you eat every day, but what truly makes you, you. We’ll talk about your relationships, where you are in your career path, your spirituality, creative projects, and current fitness routine... just to name a few. Any imbalance in one area of your life can indirectly affect the other areas, because everything is connected. Does stress at work or within your relationships cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy demotivate you from exercising? I want to deeply understand every area of your life so I can help you find your balance and joy while also helping you feel empowered, confident and 100% comfortable in your own skin.
